Richard McBride

Richard McBride is Professor of Korea and Buddhist Studies in the Asian & Near Eastern Languages Department at Brigham Young University (BYU). He teaches courses on premodern and modern Korean literature, literary Sino-Korean, Korean culture, and premodern Korean history. His research interests include Korean and Chinese Buddhist doctrine and practice and early Korean history, particularly of the state of Silla.
