Gay Walker (she/her) is a printer, calligrapher, and book arts artist based near Portland, Oregon. She was Head of Preservation and Curator of the Arts of the Book Room at Yale University Library 1972-1990 where she co-directed several large preservation grants and created/mounted exhibits for the Sterling Library. She was head of special collections at Reed College 2002-2017 in charge of rare books and maps, archives, and artists books as well as exhibits and preservation.
